I want to get through it myself, just this once. I'd prefer not to be rescued. It's gonna be a challenge, probably harder than I even think it's going to be. But for once I wanna get through things myself, so please don't get me rescued.

I can tell that there is going to be somebody out there raising hell to get me rescued. But when things go from good to bad, I need to know that I can depend on myself, and only myself to come back through. To know that I am strong enough and as capable as I believe I can be. I may be a girl and we are all weak and vulnerable at times, but it runs in my blood: I am a fighter.
Chances are that I will fall multiple times before I ever get up off my knees, but what is wrong with that? Each and every time I fall, I will learn how to get up the next time a little easier. Babies fall when they learn to walk, but you turn your head and next thing you know they are running. Before I soar I need to learn to fly.
They say what does not kill you will only make you stronger. I believe in this 100%. Things can go from good to bad within seconds, and more than often it takes more than seconds to get things back to good again. If I can make things "good" all by myself once, then I know the next time I will be able to get back up again, each time, in theory, it should get a little easier.

Sure, at times it is all the heart desires to have a crying shoulder. But their is not going to be a shoulder there every time. Sometime all you need is to be in the dust left to rust, and gather the strength from within ourselves to keep pushing through. We all get weak at times, but it's always darkest just before the dawn. Life is never hopeless and we all have scars, bruises and wounds, but there is never a reason to give up. Once you have hit rock bottom the only way to go is up. And if you can find a way to bring yourself up, all alone, you have then proved to yourself that you are strong, even when just before you felt so weak.
You never know your full potential until you push yourself to the breaking point, until you push yourself to do what seemed impossible. The challenges that the world and God present us with are meant to make us brave and give us faith. You don't always have to be safe, secure and comforted by the hands of somebody else to be unafraid. Everybody is capable of rescuing themselves.
